About openstatus
openstatus combines uptime monitoring with public status pages. Its MCP server lets an authorized agent inspect status pages, components, reports, maintenance windows, and monitors. With write access, the agent can create an incident report, add public updates, resolve a report, or schedule maintenance. OAuth and API-key authentication are documented for interactive and headless clients, and mutations are recorded in an audit log. The product is available as a hosted service or for self-hosting.

Getting started
Add the documented openstatus MCP endpoint to a compatible client. Interactive clients use OAuth to select a workspace and access level; API keys are available for headless agents.
Reliability and controls
OAuth is scoped to a selected workspace with read-only or read-and-write access. MCP mutations are attributed in the audit log, and connections can be revoked from workspace settings.
